Editors, What kind of speakers are you using to mix audio with.
You can for sure get a pair of professionally-decent audio monitors for $300-$500 US. They won't be great and I wouldn't use them to finish audio for Netflix or whatever, but for most corporate work, YouTube, and lots of other stuff, there are a bunch of good options. Here's a slight edit of a post

New bookshelf shelfie
JBL 306p studio monitors. They have the 10” subwoofer under the desk as well. I’m kind of a sound nut so I’ll give the long answer if anyone is interested: these were the cheap option for studio monitors but they give a pure reference sound that gives you exactly what was mixed in the studio. Almost

¿Repair VXT4 or go for Kali LP-6?
If it's a work tool, write it off and get IN8 or IN5 or whatever suits you and your budget best. Also consider KH120 or JBL705 or Shape 50 for compact alternatives, or maybe LYD48 as a landscape three-way nearfield. If you are on a budget, there is also JBL 306/308 or HS7/8.

Kali Lp6v2 vs higher end brands?
First question is if you want to replace what you have with a similar size, or supplement them with a second, larger set. If the former, KH80 has a neutral, honest tone, but lacks impact and power, because of the small size. 8010 is like, all tweeter - they are basically multimedia speakers. If you

Looking for a pair of decent audio speakers to edit sound
I think you can get by with less-expensive audio monitors. Or you could get a pair of the JBLs mentioned below along with a decent matching JBL sub for about US$720, but personally I'd hold off on the sub. Here's what I wrote a month or so ago: ===== You can for sure get a pair of professionally-dec

[Help Needed] Smart Speaker Setup with Home Assistant (₹20K–₹30K Budget)
WiiM’s products are likely the way to go. And note, as you probably have seen, that they don’t otherwise have microphones for voice control — besides in their additional/optional remote controller. Also we would usually recommend at least WiiM Pro Plus, because it has better DAC than Mini or Pro. Bu
