The semi-auto gatekeeping has officially gone too far
I have a Jura Z10 (or a very similar looking high end Jura) at work and the coffee it produces is hot garbage. Not the best beans, but they have so much more potential than the shit that comes out of that machine. Edit: I sometimes brew Aeropresses with the beans, I know they're not the culprit

Thoughts on the Breville/Sage Oracle Dual Boiler?
I just purchased one, coming from the 2020 Oracle, it’s a big step up in espresso quality and especially microfoam. The guy in the store demoed it for me and I also got a demo of the Jura Z10, which in comparison honestly taste horrific. This new Oracle dual boiler to me taste better than 99% of caf

Respectfully going to disagree hard here when it comes to espresso!I owned a Jura Z10 before I went to manual espresso. And the espresso that the machine can produce is not even in the same league as a manual one!And that is whith the EXACT same beans! I had the Jura Z10 and my current espresso mach

Breville or Jura? [2000]
Breville Jet will give you better espresso than a Jura but will also require a little more manual effort. Also look into the KitchenAid KF8. I've only tried the Jet in a Williams Sonoma, but I had the Jura Z10 and KitchenAid KF8 at home side by side for a month. Neither will get you true espresso ma

Jura Z10 Cannot Grind On Three Settings, According to Jura
Any updates on the z10? We also have an E8 that’s having “issues.” I’m pretty handy so I’m fixed just about everything I feel comfortable doing. New burrs, o-rings, deep cleanings. But recently it’s not frothing milk (not the basic stuff.) It’s an issue I think with frothing valve.. maybe. Idk. I ha

Help me stop my gf from getting a Nespresso Machine! [550-600]
If she's not into the hobby it's a waste. In my house I have a Jura Z10, A bambino, and a nespresso. The first two are only used by me. My wife prefers the nespresso taste 🤷♂️ don't fight it, let your hobby be your hobby.

Eh I'd be interested to taste but just looking at a couple of videos of the Jura Z10 doing espresso shots and the pour has the same 'fake' look of any other not properly pressurised shot. The resulting crema looked like pressurised/pod coffee as well. This is in contrast to the very expensive machin
