After years of typing on laptop keyboards, I bought my first mechanical keyboard a couple of weeks ago. I researched for less than an hour and ended up buying the Keychron K8 Pro with Keychron Super Switch Brown. I love the experience of working with a dedicated mechanical keyboard, but I don’t love

Keychron Collection 2026
Yeah, I've kept my Keychron K8 Pro plugged in almost constantly (because the Bluetooth is so laggy it's nigh unusable) and, while it indeed feels like the wireless and battery are "a waste", I fully expect it to not be any more of a problem than any other device that also has a battery. Surely no-on

K10 battery life kinda lackluster?
Re "Did I get a faulty product?": No, I don't think so. Keychron's figures are unrealistic There is a reason they have the disclaimer: "Lab test result may vary by actual use" AKA your mileage may vary. 48-60 hours sounds about right, at least for a QMK-based keyboard. Manage your battery ('s lifeti

How my Monday almost went. Anyone know what battery I can replace this with? It's a K4
Hey, Came across this post while I was trying to find battery for my K8 Pro. yes, my keyboard battery also became pillow after 3 years and half. Keychron support quoted a high price for battery so I found same battery from different website and now waiting for it to arrive. Fingers crossed.

Is getting a keychron worth it anymore
My Keychron K8 Pro was the first nice mechanical keyboard I ever bought. I've been happy with it so far, but one key stopped responding today after owning it for only 6 months. I reseated the switch and swapped with another known good switch, but it's not working. I fear mine has PCB issues too. I h

Was thinking of getting a new Keyboard, but can't find one that suits me. Must be ISO (ITA if possible, but i can just switch keycaps), TKL 80% (i'll adjust for 75%) that has dongle wireless (not bluetooth). I was going for a thocky-type sound. I saw some such as the Keychron V3 Max, but i don't rea

Reactive key lighting but with constant backlight?
Re "Is there a way to have reactive keypresses that change the keys colour, while still having a constant active colour across my keyboard?": One of the RGB animation modes not enabled by default, "Solid Reactive", technically works, but likely not in practice (e.g., the key colour change is too sub

The K8 is not the same as K8 Max. (The firmware is also utterly and completely mutually incompatible.) Blame Keychron's naming scheme for the confusion this causes (and bricked keyboards; they can be recovered in case of K8 Max, but not for a K series keyboard, or at least the Bluetooth part will be
