Best Gaming Keyboard Brand Right Now In 2026?

You obviously haven’t tried the Q1 HE 😅 i honestly can’t decide which is better. My 60HeV2 or my keychron Q1 HE. Keychron definitely feels more premium but as far as rapid trigger, actuation points, etc… they’re extremely similar and both softwares are amazing

What’s going on with Keychron?

So I have several older Keychron keyboards (Q, Q Pro and V series). I've had almost no problems with them with the exception of one original model Q5 that had a hot swap socket connector pop off the rear of the PCB (which potentially was my fault when replacing switches on it as I've swapped switche

First time poster but long times user. Goodbye Keychron!

Because people love coming online to complain. They rarely come online to say they like it. Ive had the Keychron Q1 HE QMK Wireless keyboard a year now, no issues and I fricken love it 🤷 That being said, their returns page is a bit shocking.

The Apple Store sells a mechanical keyboard

It is an ok keyboard, but the price makes it a bad buy. To be fair one of these is what got me started on my custom mechanical keyboard journey. But I quickly learned the K65 isn't all that great. Much better choices would be the Keychron Q1. You will pay roughly the same price but get an all alumin

Unpopular opinion: the V1 at $74 makes the Q1 Max at $199 almost impossible to justify. I ran the numbers.

The Q are really hard to justify, except maybe the Q4 is still a bit of a bargain. I still prefer the J2 to any of the Q or V lines. The Keychron design language that makes then leave out the bottom key in the navigation column in the V1/Q1 kind of ticks me off. Moving the column over 1/4u and putti

Keyboard recommendations

120 percent or 120 keys? o.O Full size is what u describe - (normal keyboard alpha-numeric + fkeys top row + arrow and function keys then + numpad on right side) And u can get a 80% (which is what I believe the wooting 80 is) he, he = hall effect (magnetic switches, NOT mechanical, but most magnetic

Looking for Premium Wireless 75% Aluminum Keyboard Options w/ Knob

Redragon k739 * ($65) Yes it's low priced and Redragon software is awful, but this is actually QMK so it doesn't use the Redragon drivers, and is amazingly well built. I would pick this over the corresponding electromechanical Q1. For a magnetic board, Keychron is undeniably the best choice by far.

Something like Keychron Q1/Q3 (Max or HE versions for 2.4GHz wireless) would fit every criteria besides shine-through stock keycaps. Not sure they'll fit under €230 though. The software situation with keychron is that they use WebHID, so as long as your system can run chrome, you can run it. Though

Keychron Q1 HE 8K TMR keyboard review & sound test with Lekker Tikkens

That's a tough call. I don't really think you can go wrong with either, tbh. For me personally, I'd go with the Keychron, just because macro support. But if macros aren't a big deal to you, I think the 80HE is a perfectly reasonable choice, especially if you're mostly going to be gaming. It's a grea

is the keychron v5 max a good keyboard?

Here is a different kind of feature matrix. Though it is missing a lot of keyboards. For example, the only HE keyboard is Q1 HE. I don't see the point if such a list is not comprehensive.
