NUT65 - my thockiest board so far.

I've been rocking mine for a week now. What an incredible piece it is. I come from a Keychron V1 and this one is light-years ahead in all aspects. I built mine with womier double-shot PBT keycaps and Huano Sakura switches. The combination is incredible, thocky as heck! The keyboard works perfectly w...

First keyboard that I built myself! (Lucky65v2)

Board: Lucky65v2 Switches: Gateron Milky Yellow Pros (KS-3) Keycaps: Shirakawa (Dye sub PBT) from Pressplay (not sure if it's a clone sorry) Not my first mechanical keyboard (that was the Keychron v1), but the first I built from a barebones kit! Mostly inspired to try because I wanted a keyboard som...

My review of cherry mx silent reds

I have these, and have had for some time. They have remained absolutely inaudible, but can feel a little squashy, although that might just be me. I've had them a long time (over a year) and still haven't changed them out for any thing else. Running them in a Keychron V1 75%

keyboard suggestions

What you're looking for are called "tactile switches". Unfortunately, most prebuilt boards have linear switches as the main or only options because there's a whole mythology about how linear switches are better for gaming. Jamesdonkey J4 ($53) The Brown and Banana switch options are tactile. The ban...

Air75 v3 Blush Nanos… Love’em!!

Apparently compared to my keychron v1 max with brown switches, they are super silent. It’s just that the mic picked it up real nice😁😁😁

PC Gamers: Keyboard recommendations for Work + Gaming to replace Logitech G810 :)

I have a Keychron V1 Max, which is a 75% keyboard, but I'm sure they do a full size version. I'm a computer science researcher, so I spend lots of time writing code and reports, and I find the key travel and overall build great. It supports both Mac and Windows connections and can be connected via d...

Experiences with Keychron V1 Max?

I had the V1 for 4 years. First the keys started chattering after only 7 months. Then the usb connector turned loose even tho I barely unplugged the cable. Keychron ghosted my Emails for an RMA request. I bought new switches from them which also started chattering again. Finally some keys started to...

Help me choose between 2 Keychron boards

On the surface they're very similar boards with similar feature sets, and at similar price points. The main difference is the design and construction - the V6 is 'gasket mount', the switches are on a (very nice quality!) custom circuit board, which is mounted between foam gaskets in the plastic case...
