Just bought a keychron v5 max and I’m surprised at how ugly the key caps text is. For a tool that’s about words, the kearning is totally off and the pad print quality is so so.

So far as I know all the recent (say, past 2 years) Q and V gasket mounted boards may exhibit the same problems. I have a V5 I bought a few years ago. Happy with it. So I upgraded to Q6 Max. Had massive double key press problems. Returned it. The replacement was exactly the same. So I replaced with Q6 HE. Still had the same problem, just not as bad. In short I'll never but keychron again. This sub is littered

Wow. Had no idea the entire V series is so problematic. Thanks for the info! Looks like I should steer clear of the V5 Max. I saw rtings review on both and am concerned about the pretty high latency on the Q6... This is just for work typing so I don't think it's an issue? rtings comparison
