When my pinky has had enough of ctrl+c and ctrl+v, it’s time to bust out the post-it splint

I struggle with CTRL V & C, but because of ulnar tendon subluxates and creates other issues. I just wanted to put it out there that there are so many types of adaptive/assistive technologies you can explore to further assist your body with it's needs. I use this keyboard. It has side keys. Even a sp

How many of you aren't skinny?

I wanted to suggest the keyboard I use. My tendons don't stay put in my wrists with a standard or even ergonomic keyboard. This one let's you change it up however you need, whenever you need. Freestyle2 Split-Adjustable Keyboard for PC | Kinesis https://share.google/LsoShIS27MtihKfnf

Apple Magic Keyboard but split? Somebody is trying to build it!

Hi, this is a fair question. I do want to provide a more detailed explanation of the negative sentiment on the Compose. For broader discussion of the reasons, you can read what others said in the thread I linked. Here, I'll give my own impression on the posted video. "I did a lot of research on ergo

Hi potential first time Split Ergo Keyboard user here.

My first split was the Freestyle Edge RGB and it is a little more expensive compared to the Freestyle2, but the nice thing is that it has mechanical switches as opposed to the rubber dome ones. Plus it has some software to remap keys, whereas the Freestyle2 does not. If the bosses haven't already pu

I almost wish she had a 3rd hand and piano 🎹

If you cant write properly even on one keayboard. And typing with 2 fingers. Than for sure. But if you a typist or just can type with both hands without looking on keyboard. Than what exactly gonna change for you? You just gonna use left part of one keayboard for your left hand. And right part of ke

Como vocês evitaram a Tendinite?

Teclado Kinesis.

Recommendations for setup after neck complication

that sounds incredibly tough, man. when i had wrist issues, redoing my whole setup was a game changer. your idea of a split keyboard is smart—i'd look at the Kinesis Freestyle2 for that. for the screen, a monitor on a fully adjustable arm will let you get the height and distance perfect without tilt

Wrist pain from Kinesis Freestyle 2, but not from Logitech MX Keys Mini. What's causing it?

I agree with the others saying it depends on more info. My initial question would be if you hover type (palms always hovering so that your wrists are straight) or do your palms sag down and your fingers are higher than your wrists? I'm no doctor, but that is probably the first line of investigation

Writing Aids for someone who has limited typing capabilities

If it is the hand itself vs wrist, then a one-handed keyboard would work. You could even get work to buy it for you if that would be its primary use. Reasonable accommodation. There's also an app called Universal Remote that allows you to use your phone to act as mouse and/or keyboard. I use it with
