[HELP] KLEVV CRAS C910 2TB NVMe detected in BIOS but invisible in Windows after ~10 months — controller error logs (Event ID 11 + 157) — thermal damage or failed controller?
I don't see how the CPU getting stuck at 80c for extended periods would cause heat damage to the NVME drive unless the drive was literally on top of the CPU. If there was any actual heat damage due to the CPU being pegged at 80c, it would be with the CPU, not the SSD, and you'd be having way more is

SSD has incredibly outdated NAND (It’s a Micron B27A NAND which almost 7 years old). Controller is questionable: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1qasd5z/new_nvme_ssd_failed_in_2_months_keep_rma_unit_or/ https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/comments/1npenis/ssd_klevv_cras_c910_2tb_m2_2280_slc_cache_nv

X870 Eagle Wifi7 not dectecting M2 slots
Good question. Im using a “KLEVV CRAS C910 4TB M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe Gen4” But I’ve also tested with a Samsung 500gb one. Before sending it off for the RMA it worked just fine for a year until one day it just wouldn’t detect the slot anymore.
