I sold my Kobo Libra Color and got the Kobo Clara BW. I couldn't be more happier.
I'm convinced the Libra Colour is selling like it is because a lot of people hadn't used an e-reader before it. Plenty who have used b/w e-readers like yourself come to that same conclusion, that the inferior actual reading experience (KLC on right KL2 on left) isn't in any way worth seeing the book

To those of you who have 2 e-readers, why do you keep both and what do you use each one for?
Boox Palma 2 and a Kobo Libra Colour. The former is my main e-reader, the latter has been delegated to a glorified etch a sketch/beautifying my KOReader interface. Both colour e-ink and Kobo did not work for me, but it was a gift so I don’t have it in my heart to sell it.

Shopping for an e-reader with: physical buttons, Kindle access, and a color screen.
Boox Go 7 Color Gen II, or if you're okay moving your books away from Kindle, Kobo Libra Colour, although it doesn't support Libby magazines, so probably just the Boox.

Upgrade : PW 11th Gen -> Kobo Libra Color ?
the libra color screen has lower contrast than pw because of the color filter layer - text looks slightly grayer. software speed is similar to kindle for page turns but library navigation can stutter. if you read mostly novels, the color adds nothing and pw wins on sharpness. for comics or color cov

[Update] Simple UI v1.5: Wallpapers, Custom Icon Packs, Presets, and Titles Under Covers
On my kobo libra colour, I’m sure that on the latest simpleui version the ghosting or worse. Going through the library looks particularly bad

The Boox Palma 2 might have changed my relationship with ereaders
Yeah, I’ve tried… a lot: Kindle Oasis, Kindle Paperwhite, Nook 4, Kobo Libra Colour, iPad, iPad Mini… Mind you, I still sometimes swap back to the Kobo (because their Android app is not great) or Kindle (because the Kindle software is VERY good), but this is the device I travel with. Just wish I cou

Am I going to be missing out a lot without Android OS?
That was one of the reasons I returned my Kobo Libra Color and got the Boox Go 7. I don't need games or many apps but I do need a decent browser to look up people and races (species) for star wars characters in my growing library.

Best eReader for note taking and highlighting combined with being able to read it in the full sun. UK. Particular Feature Wishlist Within
I've been looking through this for 4 days and I definitely can't afford the bigger ones, so I was looking at the 7 inch ones and I saw the Kobo Libra Colour and the Boox Go Colour Gen II both for around £200-£250. But I've looked up reviews here and elsewhere and everyone's saying they're both shit

Ask Me Anything About My E-Ink Tablet Collection
Do you have a Musnap Ocean C? I have been eyeing it for a while but a bit worried because I would have to import it and the Kobo Libra Color seemed like lackluster.
