The HS5s aren't flat though, they have a horrible peak in the mids that almost everyone complains about. I find my rokit 5 G4s genuinely sound good, don't know what krk did as people always slated the earlier rokits but the G4s are impressive.

I'd stay away from Mackie speakers TBH. They just aren't very good. And with them that close to the wall stay away from any rear ported speakers as well. Go with KRK Rokits or Yorkville. Or if you can swing the higher price the ADAM A-series are phenomenal.
