I sidegraded to the Legion Go S SteamOS version and I've sworn to never buy anything else but a Steam Deck again. While on paper it seems great, more power, better screen, steamOS, more ram, more everything. It also has it's downsides you realize when you actually use it daily. It's bulky and heavy

So I decided on a Lenovo Legion Go S Z1 Extreme, but wouldn't a Lenovo Legion Go Z1 Extreme be better? It has a larger screen and detachable controls.

For people that don't get how good a 7" screen is. Gaming at 720p on the XAX looks great compared to 720p on a Legion Go S. The smaller screen just has a higher dpi which doesn't get mentioned much.

I owned the Odin 2 Portal, ist a fantastic device. But its mainly an emulation Handheld, and extremely limited in emulating PC games. Even lightweight games wont run that wel on it right now. For your usecase a x86 handheld is a better choice. Well, I might know a better alternative for you! :) One
