Honestly the default is great! It's the only one I found in Linux that works out of the box with Lenovo's Legion & LOQ power modes.I TLP might be a better power saver overall but the default does performance modes better and there's not much difference in power saving in my experience

If you're going for Ryzen and gaming is the priority, try to find one with a Dedicated GPU (like an RTX 3050 or 4050) or at least a Ryzen 7 with Radeon 780M graphics. Also, avoid HP if you can; Lenovo Legion or LOQ have much better cooling for long sessions.

I'll try my best to simplify this: There are multiple models/generation of whatever brand you're eyeing. Take the Asus TUF lineup, I can 50/50 agree because their older models used to have crappy build quality and heating problems back in the days. Another example is the Asus V16 models, Asus market

Según entiendo y en base a mi propia experiencia, Asus ROG y Lenovo Legion son tope de gama, y suelen tener los componentes de mejor calidad, y excelentes sistemas de refrigeración. TUF y LOQ son gama media, y suelen tener pantallas y teclados mas economicos, ademas de que se calientan un poco más.

Eu já tive um lenovo legion e qualidade é muito boa. Dito isto, mais 400€ pelos mesmos componentes é uma grande diferença. Vê reviews sobre os dois.

Lenovo loq bazı modellerde de battery drain olayını duydum. Zaten acer nitro v serisi, lenovo loq ve victus serisi benzer fiyatlarda gidiyor. Bir üst segment ürünlerde pahalı. Bu segmentte minimum sorunu olan ürünleri araştırın. Yoksa hp omen, düz acer nitro(v olmayan), lenovo legion bakabilirsiniz.

Buy a refurbished MacBook Pro or ThinkPad. New laptops in that price range are fine, but many are consumer grade and you’ll be paying a premium just for it being new as well.
