Revit laptop choice — is 32 GB RAM more important than having a dedicated GPU?
Thanks for the suggestion and for sharing the deal, I appreciate it. To be honest, I actually had a Lenovo Legion Slim 5 (Ryzen 7-7840HS, RTX 4070, 16 GB RAM, 16”) up until January 10th this year, and it honestly did nothing but give me problems, and it ended up dying after about a year and a half.

Was nice knowing you guys
Dell made 13-14 inches alienware for a while and no one was buying them. Lenovo also had a 14'' inch legion slim 5 laptop last generation and no one bought it. 13-14 inch gaming laptops are not popular and a gimmick I'm surprised Asus hasn't dropped them too.

Should I give up on Linux or try another distro?
Nope it's a relatively new (2024) Lenovo Legion Slim 5. My biggest concern is the fact that I have an AMD CPU with the Nvidia dGPU. Having two GPUs was already giving my trouble before even fully installing. Seems like that's just kind of a given with Linux + having a dGPU
