P1 Gen 9 announced!
FWIW, I actually quite dig the P1's overall design, but I'm personally really not a fan of the keyboard direction as of late. This is maybe a nitpick, but the new font and lower-case on everything besides the core letters reminds me of what I remember with HP, and I just don't think it looks good on

Any Good Build Quality Laptops with As Good Keyboards as on Thinkpads But Also NICE Displays/Sound?
You can option Thinkpads with very good screens. Most lines are available with top-of-the-line display options - OLED and IPS. Even the cheap E-series can be specified with a 120Hz, 100% sRGB 2.8k screen these days, and any T- and P- series can be had with color-accurate hi--res display options. P1

EU/IT Linux Laptop, what to buy?
Skip all the hype brands. Durable laptops with good Linux support are made by only 3 companies: Dell, Lenovo and HP. Discard all other options. Imo the absolute best laptop you can buy right now is the Dell Pro Max 16 Premium. See this video. Skip the GPU as always unless you really need it. Worthy

Comparison between the best
ThinkPad P16 Gen 3 with Core Ultra 9 285HX and RTX 5000 Pro P series, but not the -s models, those are rebadged T14/T16 besides few exceptions Depends on the market, your budget and performance needs. Generally, P series will be the answer. FYI P series battery life isn't impressive. P16 and older P

Help me buy a Thinkpad!!!!
Look for A ThinkPad P53 or P15 G1, yeah they're 15inch, not 16inch and they're heavy, but they have GPUs and can game. If you'd rather have a lighter carry then look for X1 Extreme or P1, gen 2 and 3, they're the same chassis, just one has Quadro graphics instead of GeForce. If you must have a 16 in

Switching from 2019 MacBook Pro - Need ThinkPad recommendation around $1250 for heavy multitasking
I've used T-series Thinkpads as my daily PCs since my T400 in 2009. Typing this on a T14 gen 2 AMD 5850U with touchpad upgraded to glass from an X1 extreme gen 1. This will likely be my last T series unless Lenovo upgrades touchpad quality. I also own a X1C Gen 9, which I don't use as much due to th

Can anyone recommend a laptop without PWM and TD ??
Depends what you want but I love my Lenovo P1/X1 Extreme Older models 15.6” newer 16” nice choice of IPS with high resolution, 4K ones are great if you want great clarity. Battery life isn’t greatest but they are very thin and one of the lightest laptop available with a dedicated GPU.

The All-New 2026 Yoga Pro 9i 16 Looks Really PRO!
Lenovo applied the same Tandem OLED of the YP9 in the ThinkPad P1 Gen 9. But it was matte version or has anti-reflective coating on it. A review revealed that this caused graininess and less clarity. I agree it is convenient for usability concerns, still glossy panels make things look crisp and a bi
