Are refurbished ThinkPads still a good deal in 2025?
Look instead for an L14 or L15 Gen 1 with an AMD processor, at the very least. It's a lot faster and more power efficient (although the battery in the L series is small). 8th gen Intel is just too old and inefficient even with the undervolt - and Ryzen 4000 series can be undervolted as well.
