Current Linux status on Snapdragon X Elite (Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x)?
I have used the latest Ubuntu 25.10 on the Yoga Slim 7x, and it works almost well enough. The GPU works out of the box now which is huge. No other distro can do that yet. Nothing but Ubuntu even boots on it yet, although Fedora is looking to fix that in Fedora 44. I was able to get sound to work usi

Interested in switching from arch to gentoo
I got a Lenovo yoga slim 7x. It’s pretty usable, pretty much everything works except Bluetooth, camera and display port ( I haven’t tested DP standalone, I have a TB dock for my office Mac). It keeps improving with every kernel update eg RTC only started working with 6.16 It has 12 cores, I can comp

I had a great morning due to Antigravity 2.0
I've tried it on MacOS and Linux now and it's fine. Was it a perfect upgrade ... no. Was it manageable ... yes. I haven't tried it on my Windows ARM PC yet. I'll do that now ... 2 hours later ... OK. It's totally broken on ARM based CoPilot PCs. I have a Lenovo Slim 7x and it simply just doesn't run

Snapdragon X Elite in 2026
I'm using the lenovo yoga slim 7x. great product. For office work and video editing is very good. For gaming not so much. I tried CS2, it is playable at low res, but not so fun. the screen is amazing. i got a good deal from china for about 4000 rmb so i can't complaint.

The point about Lenovo's treatment of cheaper models is fair, but the Slim 7 is their higher end consumer lineup so I don't think that's an issue here. And I am guessing yo

Form factor is completely subjective lmao. Also no that GPU performance number is not true at all, not to mention they don't even have drivers for it so you can't use it. I'll ignore that for now. You can get a nice Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x (512gb minimum) or a surface laptop (pick and choose the size an

Quick question.
Battery life is depends on CPU efficiency.. INTEL chips are not that good New Snapdragon based chip (ARM chip like Apple M1) has long battery life. >>> good for taking laptop and not running out of battery. Weight is also issue. I like to stay with 14" around 3 lbs for portable weight. https://www.c

Also no that GPU performance number is not true at all, not to mention they don't even have drivers for it so you can't use it. What an ass-pull. They do have drivers and everything works fine. IDK where you came up with this idea. Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x - starts at 1200$. MacBook Air starts at 999$. T
