Anyone get the Lenovo Yoga 7X Gen 11?
I bought one with 16gb and the X2 Elite (X2E-80-100), I'm very happy with it, the screen is amazing, it's very snappy and the battery life is insane. I use it mainly for watching stuff, browsing, general basic work like document editing, Visual Studio and other programming stuff and it's very fast.

Snapdragon - X
I use a Lenovo Yoga 7X as my daily driver. It's a good laptop. Fast, good battery life, reliable. I'm not sure I would want to pay retail price for it though. As a $600 open-box it is good. For $2000? Nah.

Surface Pro 12"/ARM, why does it use so much power in standby?
My Lenovo Slim 7x will sit in standby for days and not drain much at all. It's Windows and Arm so I don't necessarily think it's the OS but it might be the drivers that Microsoft uses. I left Intel and Surface products because of battery drain and I have been extremely happy with my 7x.

Quick example project: local AI agent that reads news and saves to local notes on Snapdragon NPU
Microsoft’s Foundry Local now supports NPU models on the Snapdragon X Elite through the latest Windows 11 Beta channel. You can run these models directly from the terminal or within VS Code using the AI Toolkit. It even exposes an OpenAI‑compatible endpoint for inference. Foundry Local is essentiall

Atrocious Battery life - sold a dream Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3
In my case (Lenovo Yoga 7x) it was the NPU. More specifically, the “WSAIFabricSvc” that was using the NPU all the time. I’ve disabled that service and got back all the battery life I was missing.

Macbook or snapdragon laptop?
Any of the new laptops with the X2 Elite should give you great battery life. I heard the Asus A14 gets great battery life considering it has a 70whr battery just like the 16 inch version. I believe Lenovo also just released ones with the X2 Plus instead of the X2 Elite if you want to save a bit of m

The first Snapdragon X2 Elite (and Plus!) laptops from Lenovo leak
I think the slightly reduced battery life is a worthwhile trade personally. Since this is an OLED you really want a HiDPI "retina" screen because of the subpixel array. Text on FHD OLEDs looks blurry to me. But just in general, text and other elements on a HiDPI display look so crisp that I don't wa

VATSIM on ARM as a controller
Not sure about CRC, but i use Euroscope on a lenovo yoga slim 7x occasionally and it works. Takes a long while to load initially but while controlling its okay. TrackAudio works well, ive used audio for vatsim once i think and that also worked. I generally can't really recommend a laptop for control

Are you generally happy with your Snapdragon laptops and Windows 11 on ARM?
I love it. I bought a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x (X Elite/32gb ram) and I use it for writing articles and editing 4k (gopro) videos in Davinci. I love that battery life is 20 hours, when writing articles (davinci obviously kills it haha). The screen is bright and beautiful, the device is super light (I oft

Laptops comparable to macbook air m4
The closest you’ll get is a premium Snapdragon Elite X laptop if all the apps you need run on ARM. Something like the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x.
