It’s a Levoit Core 400s. It’s pretty old but still works very well and I love how I can control it from the app.

Funny to see this post when I'm actually converting my Levoit Core 400S to use ESPHome locally, so no cloud. Waiting on the parts to come in from Amazon today as a matter of fact. I've had the air purifier for a couple of years now and it's worked flawlessly. I've used the cloud dependent VeSync int

As it’s a fairly big room so I would look at medium to large units. For the UK some good models we have tested that are worth checking out would be: Airfanta 3 pro - best bang for buck and go for the version that includes carbon for the ability to remove particles and odors - https://housefresh.com/

Nice! I got the levoit core 400s. It's pretty good but I wish it picked up little bit more. Then again I guess it doesn't really matter since the birds fluff up dust every other minute lol.

Reported cadr is 206 cfm so it’s fairly good value at the price they are showing. Although I would prefer a mid size model from Levoit, Coway or Winix as I have more confidence that I’ll still be able to get filters in 5 years as this is a new product line for Wyze. Lasers sensor is a good addition

Can’t talk for the Wyze as don’t have one but the core 400s does have a laser sensor. Unlike the optical sensors in the vital series there is no slot you have to keep clean. Dropping the laser info from Levoit is marketing: Do you just mean it’s not reliable ?

In order of actual impact to fix it: 1. Measure first. Inkbird or Aranet4 for CO2, a cheap PM2.5 sensor for particulates. You can’t optimise what you haven’t measured and the results are often surprising — cooking spikes PM2.5 more than most people expect, and closed bedrooms hit 1,400+ ppm CO2 afte

I would avoid Blueair because their models use always-on ionizers. And even though ozone production is tiny, I wouldn't risk it with birds. A purifier can help somewhat with "invisible" bits of dander or bird dust as these are lighter and can stay aloft. But cat hair, visible dander or bird dust are

We have Levoit Core 400s in two rooms for nearly 18 months. Quite happy.
