What’s the best monitor for programmers in 2026?
For coding specifically, go 27" 4K IPS. The text rendering at that size and resolution is perfect for staring at code all day. Anything smaller than 27" at 4K and you're squinting, anything bigger and you need to sit further back. The Dell S2722QC is the go-to under $500 rec. USB-C with 65W charging

Best Monitor - AUS region
I'm grabbing a 27"4k My selection so far: BenQ PD2706UBenQ MA270ULG 27UP850-WDell 27 Plus S2725QC I'm a designer as well so, like you, I need to care for colour accuracy and sharp details. Best 32" 4K Monitor for Kitchen / Media Streaming (Netflix, YT, Prime)
lg 27up850 might be worth checking but it's only 27 inch, not 32 - but man the color accuracy is incredible for streaming content and has decent speakers built in.

Thanks to this sub just pulled the trigger on the M4 Mac mini. need honest advice on monitor + peripherals before I screw up.
You can stick with the lower DPI for your gaming since there is motion. But for computer work? Headaches, eye strain, eventually get bad vision, need to pay more for better glasses in the long run. Don't know your age, but health is important! A good monitor is MORE important than an any other part
