Resident Evil Requiem Shimmer/Flicker/Grain when Ray Tracing On

The shimmering is terrible on PS5 Pro, honestly it’s a shame. No one is talking about that on YT but it’s really bad. I play on a LG G4 OLED.

My $1400 LG OLED TV is displaying ads after latest update

Got the same thing, G4. The only way I could get it to go away was to hit the gear icon on the ad itself, choose settings and then turn notifications off. This ad is registered as an app but I can’t find any settings for it in WebOS. Fuck you Lg.

Returned my G5 and got S90F, the best decision i've made

I have the LG G4 83" in my living room, but I had the Samsung S90C 77" two yrs before in that same living room b4 I moved it to the game room, and it was way more colorful to me than the G4. I just wish Samsung made QD-OLEDs in 83"☹️

S95H matte (top) vs S90F glossy (bottom)

I have a S95F, LG CX and G4 I see reflections even at night as I have ambient lights and reflections are there non stop, especially in darker movies, I just prefer not to be in a cave so I don't see myself or other reflections. The Samsung is the main living room tv as I much prefer it as a matte sc

YTTV 4K washed-out color behavior on Roku (Dolby Vision TV and HDR)

Man I’ve been going crazy with this. I’m YTTV -> Roku Ultra->Marantz NR1506->LG G4 OLED. I’m not sure any 4k content is coming through in HDR or Dolby Vision. Specifically when I try to watch the 4K USA broadcasts of Premier League games, the colors are totally washed out and dull. It’s not broadcas

What does it mean when some people say MFG "feels" different?

Weird artifacts happen in a couple of games with HDR on. Silent Hill 2, Hogwarts Legacy, and Jedi Survivor are some of them. Turn off HDR or use Windows Auto HDR and it's fixed. You'll still get a couple of artifacts, but unless you're really sensitive to them, you won't be bothered. I also game on

Has anyone found a OLED TV that is "ok" for you?

LG introduced heavier "pixel flicker" (D-word) in dark scenes to improve near-black performance with panels from 2024 and later. (C4/G4) This is likely to cause issues for many sensitive users, even if you can handle the 120Hz "brightness-dip" that OLED has. This explains why some may be OK with an
