Is anyone else like autistically hyper aware of all the nasty shit modern TVs have enabled by default that's supposed to enhance the image but instead make it look DOGSHIT
My new LG C5 OLED has 10 BS A.I. and processing settings enabled on every input and every app. You cannot universally disable it (eventhough the settings have an "apply to all inputs" option). You must open every app, dig through the menus and manually disable each option for each input and each app

Need suggestions for a new OLED TV
Sorry to break it to you, but with today’s build quality, be happy if a TV even crosses the 7-year mark. OLEDs are especially susceptible to burn-in even the latest ones, and their brightness reduces over time with usage. If you want to get an OLED look for LG C5 or G5. Samsung doesn’t support Dolby

[r/colorists X LG OLED TV] Event: Perfect Black Meets Perfect Grade - Experience LG OLED C5 This Black Friday 🎨
Colorists don't use LG C5 as their ref monitor, it's a Client review monitor. And the word Client here often means people who have no technical knowledge of post-production. I've never in my career had a Director or DP ask me to turn on the LG/Sony/Panasonic OLED TV in my suite during a grading sess

Oled is the best is just hoax?
An OLED that has a high PWM rate is really nice to use. However, my preference is a high quality IPS. Low PWM OLEDs cause eye strain and headaches for me. I use an iPhone 17 Pro Max with no issues. But the LG C5 TV I used to own caused headaches in a little as 5 minutes of watching it. IPad Pro M4 a

Simple Questions, Tech Support, TV/Monitor Recommendations
PS5 Pro updated and now 2160p HDR is not supported. Any ideas? Been using the PS5 Pro for months now with an LG C5 OLED. Always had 2160p available with HDR. I use a Denon AVR-3600H that the PS5 Pro connects to, and then the Denon connects to the TV. Been happy with this setup for months with no iss

Sony Bravia 3 Mark II India Launched 😍
In that range you can get LG C5 series OLED TV or G5 55" OLED TV. But I would not recommend spending that much amount on TV for parents if they are casual viewers. If you are having DTH connection for TV, then Non OLED TV is preferable due to OLED burn-in issue. Display on OLED TV is much better tha

What TV will you be using for GTA 6?
I had LG B2 for like a month and then LG G2 launched in 2022. I exchanged it with G2, very good upgrade at that time. I remember I was playing RDRII on my B2 and Exchanged the TV midway, I can see the transformation from B2 to G2 from A MILE AWAY. 2 & 3. The reason for upgrading was ACTUALLY GTA VI.

Just bought a pro, I’m on a projector currently. Does anyone have or had any experience with this tv as an entry level. It’s all I can afford right now
I had the Sony x85k 43” For two years before upgrading to a lg c5 42” I’d recommend going for the Bravia 3 ii tbh

Why is EVERYTHING on prime video so dark? I can barely watch anything even after cranking up the brightness.
I am using the lg C5 oled, it's not the brightest TV but I never have issues with anything else. This is the only time I've had to change the picture mode to vivid, I've watched some things lately like the boys, and today the long walk, on normal HDR cinema mode it's so dark it's like a gloomy day b

Unlock request for LG C5 and Samsung S90F.
S90F (QD-OLED) is the better panel. Brighter, more vibrant colors, better off-axis viewing, better shadow detail, no dithering, cleaner panel https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/lg-c5-oled-vs-samsung-s90f-oled/88602/92237?share_token=9QQwnD4Kf40dM7yJ04tfH5ZBOKhxXbCa
