In early 2024, I bought a Logitech Brio webcam. It just died today, and I never used it a lot in the time I've had it. Not even two years old, and it's dead. I've noticed similar poor longevity in other Logitech products. I think I'm done with buying Logitech products. They used to be pretty good.

Don't buy Brio 4k. Get Insta 360 link 2 or OBSBot Tiny models for similar price. Logitech Brio is one of the first 4k webcams but it comes with a smaller sensor. I didn't use Logitech MX so I have no idea about that.

I have this same issue on a Mac M4 (Tahoe 26.1). I would click on a window or menu item and defocus would happen after around 1 second. It was even very hard to shut down and reboot because the defocus happened so quickly. I guessed it would be Logitech G-Hub causing the issue because the same thing

Just bought the Logitech MX Brio 4K Ultra HD, getting the exact same issue. Looks like absolute dogshit. I'm refunding this piece of shit camera.
