Thanks for relaying these details. It's super annoying how a much older generation webcam (C615) doesn't suffer this issue, but I guess not enough people use facetime/whatsapp on a Mac with external speakers to sufficiently motivate either Apple, Logitech or Meta to address this issue.

Did you ever get this resolved? For me, if I use a Logitech C615, the other party experiences no echo. But if I use either the Logitech Brio 500 or the Logitech Streamcam, the other party hears an echo.
