Okay don't do anything people here are saying, this is VERY FIXABLE use 'TAB', to scroll to g-shift and use 'SPACE' to turn it off, and to fix it, use 'TAB' and scroll to the primary click system option 'ENTER', you may have to hold enter, but it should assign it to the primary click at least. Still using the g600 since now probably more than a decade? Actually not using the G-Buttons as much and the g-shift button aswell unused but it's really remarkable how a Logitech device still keeps up, has no damage at all und just feels awesome under my palm.
