mechanical keyboards hype vs actual daily use

I got myself a Logitech MX Mechanical. Mechanical feel, without the noise - didn’t need that (I’m old; when I started all regular keyboards were clicky and loud as hell). I wanted more feel, but not more noise

Where to test computer keyboards?

Thank you, this is a really good response. I will definitely have a look. For the Logitech MX Mechanical, I'm curious about the tactile quiet (it's cheapest on Amazon) and Clicky, but I know I also like the feel of the Razer green switches.

MX Mechanical

I hear you. I got so used to the Keys and Key S keyboards (and MacBook keyboards) that mechanical keyboards feel very different. Mind you I’m old school and grew up typing on the clicky IBM PS/2 keyboards. So switching to the MX Mech somehow reminds me of the good old days lol. Which MX mech switch

Wireless, TKL, Low profile, ANSI, Black keyboard recommendation

check out the Keychron K1 Max and Logitech G515; they’re good picks. If you want more to look at, the Logitech MX Mechanical Mini and Razer Pro Type Ultra are worth checking out too. They’re low profile, wireless, and feel nice for coding and gaming Also, keyboardyeti has a comparison table that cou

Deciding between the Logitech MX mini keyboard and the PhotoArc foldable keyboard with touchpad.

I have the MX Keys Mini TKL and MX Mechanical Mini. Both are amazing keyboards but I always seem to rotate back to the MX Keys Mini TKL. The feel of the keys and being light (for me) is very good. I never used a fold keyboard but the size of the MX Keys Mini TKL makes it easy to fit in any standard

Anyone else still rocking an older Apple Cinema Display in 2026? :)

I do really like the mx mechanical, so much that I bought another one for using at my desk job lol. But I did use the Magic Keyboard for a few years and would probably say my typing speed was faster on the Magic Keyboard. I like the mx mechanical more for comfort though. Different strokes for differ
