Keep your windows closed & get air filters for your home. Medifyair makes some great ones. It will eat up all the smoke. The smaller ones are great for bedrooms https://medifyair.com/products/medify-ma-25-air-purifier?variant=31541953691715 The larger ones for living rooms https://medifyair.com/prod

So, I have been on this crazy train for multiple months now and here are the things that have helped me, maybe a few can help you. Get a respirator that fits your face well and the high grade particulate, organics and chemical filters. I use these 3M filters https://a.co/d/8Ez3gb6 with this mask htt

I also have the Medify, but have not seen a good replacement filter. I tried once on my MA-40, and it worked, but got clogged much faster. Air smell wasn't clean either. I tend to vacuum my filter out every couple of weeks to help keep them clean.

Do not trust ChatGPT. It's wrong on several fronts yet again on purifiers. When sizing purifiers, use AHAM's 2/3 rule. In your case, the bare minimum CADRs for a 444 sq. ft. space (with an 8 ft. high ceiling) would be 296 CFM. The PuroAir 400 has CADRs of: Dust: 262 CFM Pollen: 286 CFM Smoke: 236 CF

I have multiple Medify purifiers (MA-112 and MA-40). I have run them 24/7 365 for about 4 years now. Other than one light going out on the 112 (button still works just no light) they have been flawless, and quality of air is fantastic. Even had an air test done for particles when my kids were going

Thanks much. I'll look into those. I was researching the medify air ma 40 last night before I noticed this reply. It has a uv system now instead of ionizer and it says it has a decent carbon layer. It's meant for an 896 sq ft room. Which after doing the math, seems like it could probably be run on l

This is all EXCELLENT advice. I have MCAS — which basically translates to horrific allergies. I’ve been in a severe flare for the last 6 months, got very sick, could only eat or drink 3 ingredients without going into anaphylaxis, dropped 25 pounds in 3 weeks, multiple ER and hospitals trips, went in

I am no expert (this is why I asked my question here)...but I think that the db levels you see on the website are probably for when the MA-112 Pro is running on it's lowest speed setting. My MA-40 is VERY quiet -- on the LOWEST speed setting. BUT quite loud on the highest speed setting. So your idea
