Microsoft Surface Pro 12 leak reveals ultra-premium pricing and 5G connectivity
The reported price is outrageous, but comparing with the MacBook Neo isn’t really a good comparison. Hoping this is the top top price variant that most don’t actually end up buying. In my case, for my use case, the 32gb Surface pro 11 snapdragon x elite gives me all the power I need for the form fac

Microsoft Surface Pro 12 leak reveals ultra-premium pricing and 5G connectivity
That's the 12 inch Surface Pro, which is a stripped down 13-inch Surface Pro 11 and uses a Snapdragon X processor with fewer cores. I'm not sure if Microsoft could have made it more confusing.

best microsoft laptop for school use?
I use my Surface Pro 11 for exactly these reasons! I am a student, and I could not recommend any better tablet-laptop or PC. I use a Snapdragon X-Plus with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Works really well, and is perfect for your use-case.

Possibly the most insane thing here is that he thinks he had a 30” iMac
Well, working in w11, when you first go to save things, it’s like, a OneDrive option, but you have then find the “save to local drive” switch and click that, which expands more options to Show desktop and your personal documents folder. I set up a Lenovo and surface pro 11 and both times the initial

NVIDIA N1x is the Company's Arm Notebook Superchip
It is. The emulation has improved significantly from the Surface Pro X era. I am not certain why users here are expressing negative sentiment because for the vast majority of users, it just works now. The only cases are power user corner cases so do not pay attention to the hate. I only use the Luna

Surface Pro 12-inch hands-on impressions: Microsoft and Qualcomm may have a home run
I'm not terribly impressed with the new devices, mostly because they don't fit my particular needs. However, the notion that has been previously expressed that Microsoft isn't serious about Arm is further dispelled by these new devices - and the fact that the business versions will also be Arm based

“Advice needed for an urgent laptop purchase.”
Dell DB16255 16" WUXGA Laptop (around $1,999 at JB Hi-Fi) Specs: AMD Ryzen AI 7 , 16GB RAM (upgradeable in some models), 1TB SSD. Why: The 1TB SSD is great for your research files, and Ryzen processors are excellent for multi-threaded tasks like running VMs. Microsoft Surface Pro (11th Ed) (around $

Surface Pro as a light travel tablet and light gaming
I bought the Surface Pro 11th Edition for Business because I wanted the Intel processor. I'm old (started with PCs before the original IBM PC), set in my ways and I don't want to deal with potential ARM compatibility issues. It works fine for me; I can run Visual Studio for C++, Eclipse for Java, et

Is there any reason to not upgrade from Surface Pro 8 to Surface Pro 12-inch 1st Edition?
Just drop here the list of software you're using so we can try to download and test it out, the we'll tell you if it works or not. At least you'll know whether it will be compatible or not. I have the Surface pro 11th edtition (13 inch), and it's been my most reliable device out of all my Windows de

I need a straight answer on Snapdragon cpus on windows (surface ofc)
I got one last week at work to put it through some paces and see exactly what support there is for the range of apps i use. I'd say 80% is native ARM. The other 20%, unsurprisingly, is made of of legacy Microsoft app services and some other specific apps I use. However, even those work just fine run
