Surface Pro as a light travel tablet and light gaming
I bought the Surface Pro 11th Edition for Business because I wanted the Intel processor. I'm old (started with PCs before the original IBM PC), set in my ways and I don't want to deal with potential ARM compatibility issues. It works fine for me; I can run Visual Studio for C++, Eclipse for Java, et

Best Choice for a Student
As with all things "It depends" is the answer. That said, I'm an older physics student (this is my second degree) taking advanced classes and the Surface Pro 11 has really been fantastic. The Surface Pro feels made for STEM. For all practical purposes, it's basically as good for note-taking as the i

Two-year-old Surface PCs get $300 price hikes as sub-$1,000 models go away
ipad pro seems like a way better value proposition at that price point I had an iPad Pro prior, and I disagree. I got fed up with not being able to do any serious work on the thing, and being locked down on a device I paid significant money for. Again, I hate what Windows has become, but at least I

I need a straight answer on Snapdragon cpus on windows (surface ofc)
I got one last week at work to put it through some paces and see exactly what support there is for the range of apps i use. I'd say 80% is native ARM. The other 20%, unsurprisingly, is made of of legacy Microsoft app services and some other specific apps I use. However, even those work just fine run

Question about snapdragon performance on 3D Software
I'm using Surface Pro 11, with Snapdragon X Elite. I'm using Revit software and it's working pretty well. I'm surprised by the way it handled the software.

Long term users of Surface running Snapdragon processors, how are things going?
Everything is going swell on my Surface Pro 11 Elite 32 GB. For my workflow I do not encounter any compatibility problems whatsoever. Great little machine with good performance and battery life.

Native Windows on ARM Support 🥹❤️
I have a Surface Pro 11 Oled, using ARM and I downloaded the Windows Portable version which works perfectly in the device. I had assumed it was native a ARM version because I thought a lot of the handheld devices were ARM, I guess that was not the case? Anyway, in case you're unaware, this is a solu

Buy Surface Pro 12” or wait?
If you can get a great deal on it, it could be worth it. I use the Adobe suite on the surface pro 11 oled which has the X elite processor which 12 cpu cores compared to the 8 cores in the surface pro 12". Photoshop runs fine to good. Lightroom is good. Illustrator is kind of slow when the drawing is

Surface pro 11? Yes or no?
For that price, I would say absolutely yes. I switched from a Galaxy Tab to the Surface Pro 11, and everything is fine. My main use is note-taking and PDF editing. Personally, I've never liked tablets in general; they are just phones with bigger screens since you are limited to Android or iOS/iPadOS

Best screen protector/pen for Surface Pro?
Is the Slim Stylus the official MS one? Because that is the best pen from a technical standpoint. You can use the older round MS pen too: https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Surface-Platinum-Model-EYU-00009/dp/B072K5TXGT but keep in mind it uses AAAA batteries and isn't quite as good IMO. It does work
