Two-year-old Surface PCs get $300 price hikes as sub-$1,000 models go away
I had a Surface Pro 4 and a Surface Pro 8, and I’m not surprised. Both devices had plenty of BSODs, and of course as time went on Microsoft slowly abandoned any idea of Windows being even a little tablet friendly, slowly making the experience worse. I remember they also removed the magnet attach for

The Surface Type keyboard is single-handedly the worst consumer electronic product I've used
The heck is up with all these comments saying they didn't experience this issue meanwhile there are hundreds of posts everywhere on the internet looking for a solution to this exact problem? I brought the surface pro 8 in 2021 and I'm also running into this problem. My keyboard just suddenly stopped

Looks like it’s FreeCAD.
I went from onshape to shapr3d on my Microsoft surface pro 8 with the pen….. absolutely. Amazing. It’s so weak thought out and I love being able to design anywhere and then on the surface open the model in bambu studio and print…. Pure magic

Microsoft confirms it will bring Snapdragon X2 chips to new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop this year
The micro SD was removed because while some find it valuable, it's an increasingly dying port, that few people use Surface Pro has had an easy-swap SSD since Surface Pro 8 (2021). It's the simplest swap in the world. The battery is user-replaceable with the right tools, parts, and patience. It is no

Windows 11 OS consuming all my ram?
I've the same issue with surface pro 8. The H2 2025 Update was fucking brutal and my laptop is nearly useless at this point. Ram usage post restart is already at 65-70%. I tried factory reset Microsoft forces auto update post reset, so that was useless. Fuck you, dip shit Microsoft.

Starlabs Horizon Review
Battery life is better than I expected. It is not on the level of my MacBook Air, but it's better than what I have come to expect for Intel laptops. I want to say 5 hours with the balanced power profile. But i haven't timed it. It definitely requires charging every day, but my MacBook Pro M5 Max nee

Help! Surface pro 12 flashes window symbol but wont turn on
This is a common issue with Surface devices. This happened to me when I first purchased my Surface Pro 8. I ended up sending mine into Microsoft and they fixed it. Haven't had the issue since. Apparently if you drain it of all power it'll fix the issue. Another way is to unplug the battery, but that
