I took the red pill.
I had a mate just came over last week and I’ve been telling him about custom keyboards and he was like “never really understood why people would waste time and effort on custom keyboards just buy one ready made (from the big commercial brands)”; he tried my recently acquired Monsgeek M1 V5 with the

75 ISO Tastatur Empfehlung
Die sehr guten Akko Astrolonk HE switches gibt's übrigens gr

Please Recommend!
Monsgeek M1 v5 VIA * The platonic ideal of a consumer 75% AL but seem to be out of stock, I guess we're waiting for v6. Akko 5075B VIA * The M1's plastic pal. Womier WD75 * Glencreag WK84 * Wood is an amazing case material. I have done some significant hacks on the WK84 source code online so it's legit.

Inky 75 or Monsgeek M1 V5
Either works great, I currently have an inky but I also owned the M1 for quite some time. See if you prefer the functionality of VIA or the hardware of the monsgeek

Any recs for HE 75-TKL keyboards? (Parts rec too)
Honestly, knob requirement demolishes a lot of good options. Maybe something like Titan75HE if you can still get it. Another options are Monsgeek M1V5 TMR and Akko MOD007 V5 HE.

Buying my first mechanical keyboard or should I go Hall Effect?
Wooting boards are basically the only boards with that functionality and they are USD$200+. If you’re on a budget and want a good HE board, I would recommend the Monsgeek Fun60. If you don’t mind the 60% layout, the board is pretty good quality and USD$60. You might have to pay more like USD$100 for

for any budget hall effect i would always suggest akko tac75 HE and monsgeek fun60 Yunzii RT75 pro for a middle ground for any long term without a budget in mind i would suggest the monsgeek m1v5 TMR and akko mod007 v5 these two have very good build quality and software to work with for customizing

HE or TMR 60%-75% sub $200 + good source for HE/TMR info/specs?
forget TMR for now, RongYuan is the only one making it (except keychron and the new lofree keyboard). They are fine for cheaper 40-50$ keyboards but for anything more than that (and without any other major selling point like alu case) I wouldn't suggest them at all since you can get Sparklink 480 ke
