Help me choose between Xbox ROG Ally X and MSI Claw A8

I was so on the fence between the two. Stats, hardware, and screen size had me leaning towards the MSI 8ai+ I went to my local best buy and was able to demo both of them. I walked out with the XAX 10 minutes later. The weight of the Claw was insane. I'm a decently strong/big guy so I was shocked it

Xbox Ally in great demand, ASUS expects to make up to $160 million from handhelds and ramps up production

I don't have the Xbox ally but I have the msi claw 8 ai, and it runs the Xbox front end just the same. I'm 40, and a new first time dad. If it wasnt for handheld gaming id be out of the hobby. Too easy just to pick it up for a few minutes before bed or if the baby is napped out. It's how Im playing

OK seriously bro, there is no other that can compete. If u look in my past posts u will see that I have had all the handhelds, the claw 8, xax, Lego S and BY FAR the go2 is the best. At 12gb vram it handles BO7 and BF 6 on med-high with 144hz smoothness W/o being plugged in!! 🤯 😶 no words, I can't

At 12gb vram it To be fair, last I checked the MSI claw 8ai+ allocated up to 16-18gb of Vram due to MSI's more generous dynamic memory allocation whereas I think Lenovo does more conservative 8-12gb levels. u look in my past posts u will see that I have had all the handhelds, the claw 8, xax, Lego S

New dad choosing a handheld Legion Go S or MSI Claw A8

Also a dad. Grabbed an MSI Claw 8 yesterday. It is fantastic. I was shocked at how good it felt and the weight isn’t bad at all. If the small price difference doesn’t bother you between the Go S and Claw A8, get the A8. Newer chip, stellar performance on low and high tdp’s, great great battery life.

Xbox ally x, MSI claw 8 AI or Legion Go 2?

I was looking for a steam OLED, I bought a MSI Claw 8 AI because I found a open box one in 550. I can't be happier. It runs everything I want, and battery is pretty decent. I just spend 5 minutes every day looking how beautiful it is. I travel all the time. I also use it as my portable personal comp

Xbox Ally vs Xbox Ally X

At the top end handheld performance. Xbox ally x and msi claw 8 ai+ are the champs for the money. That much power in a small portable space is going to be expensive. Xbox ally doesnt make much sense unless on sale since there are so many AAA it cannot play. XAX also has NPU for operating system leve

Msi Claw A8 in white.

What I like:The performance is great – I’m getting about 15% more power in my games. I mainly play RPGs and pixel games. On the ROG Ally, I got around 75–100 FPS, while on the MSI Claw I’m getting 85–120 FPS on high settings. I dont play AAA games on my handhelds like God of War or so. The screen is

Claw A8 vs XAX

I recently sold my Claw 8 AI+ and picked up the XAX today. Although different scenario to your Claw 8 since Intel provides the drivers, the MSI software really isn't great. So far I also prefer the smaller screen for portability reasons, with a less bulky body and nicer joysticks.

Which handheld should I buy for under $630?

If been through all the big handhelds and recently went back to the ROG ALLY X which I found second hand for ~half the price of Xbox Ally X. It is IMO the best one out there, since it's small compared to other "big" PC handhelds, therefore very portable. Has extremely nice face buttons and triggers,

MSI Claw A8 Vs Claw 8 AI+ Ergonomics

I'll accept the downvotes OP because this is essentially the MSI Claw 8AI sub. The objective answer is that the A8 is more ergonomic, whatever your hand shape or size. It is both lighter and has actual grips to hold onto it.
