How is this image so bright?

HDR support in monitors can be quite fake. A "true" HDR monitor really needs to have some form of light system capable of producing different amounts of light in different areas. IMO it really needs to be OLED, but a good MiniLED is quite acceptable. (There are also other factors, such as light inte

Issue with monitor sleep and wake

Are you referring to it seemingly switching to a very low resolution? If so, I've seen this as well. It seems pretty inconsistent though. It only occasionally happens when re-activating the monitors after they've turned off automatically due to inactivity, and in my experience, turning off the monit

Overwhelmed with choosing a 27 inch monitor.

Look at MSI monitors, pretty good quality and brand. I have the MSI MAG274QRF-QD myself and I'm very happy with it.

Monitor help

The monitor supports 1440p up to 144hz over HDMI 2.0. Xbox Series X outputs 1440p 120hz with HDMI 2.0. So you’d be fine. The monitor also has a console mode specifically for PS5 and Series X. This is a budget monitor though so there are some tradeoffs in other areas, but if you are concerned about H

Monitor İssue

that's a defect for sure, looks like some kind of pixel damage or pressure point from the box. since it's brand new and showed up right away, i wouldn't even try to fix it. your best move is to return it to the store or start an exchange with msi while it's still in the return window. if you decide

Flickering on bottom half of screen

that flickering sounds like a dying panel or loose ribbon cable inside. i had similar lines on an older monitor and it just got worse over time. first try a different cable and port to rule that out, then check if msi will replace it since 2.5 years might still be under warranty depending on your re

Any reason to get this (XG27ACMES) over this (XG27ACG)? Same price currently.

is it really that bad? cuz I'm planning to get this specific model as its going for a good price in my country, I do a mixture of video editing & gaming so I'm abit worried if its going to be that much of an issue. Would love to hear more from you regarding this! I currently use an MSI Optix MAG274Q

MSI Optix Driver showing up as a storage drive

Sorry to necro this, but having bought a MAG274QRF-QD E2 and having the same symptom, it appears the drivers are meant for the KVM switch feature. It doesn't happen in my work computer, though: only my personal desktop. Both are Windows 10. The workstation is plugged in through USB-C and the desktop

Second monitor disconnects and reconnects constantly while displays are off

I had exactly the same symptoms on my monitor, but with a different monitor make and model (MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD). I found that it was happening because Input Source Autoscan was enabled on the monitors. Windows would detect the monitor briefly for a split second, then set it back to disconnected.
