Back to Nikon! Prepare to see the worst photos taken with a Z8
Nearly 3 years ago I switched to Sony A7iii from a Nikon z50. The reasons were many, but mostly that there were no affordable fast zooms, be it 1st or 3rd party.
Now things have changed, and the Z mount has not only great native glass, but also some of my favorites from E mount. Unfortunately, Son

My first camera! Nikon Z50 + Nikkor 16-50 f3.5-6.3
I was taking pictures before but this is truly the first camera I can call my own. Nikon had a discount on this bundle, so I got it new for around 780$. Super excited to go and take pictures!

When will Nikon care for APS-C users?
Nikon doesn't seem to restrict mount access very much, at least not nearly as much as people seem to think, it's most likely that they set a licensing price for certain lenses that is above what Sigma and Tamron are willing to pay, and also Z mount reportedly has a much higher development cost as it

FTZ adapter lens recommendations
I doubt you'll save much money, thanks to the existence of lenses like the 70-180 f/2.8 and the like. For me, the rubric for adapting a lens to a DX camera is: At least $100 cheaper than getting a native lens (otherwise why get a $300 adapter to make a big unwieldy package) Be size appropriate, as a

Humble request: lens purchase advice
I know this is a M4/3 sub, but if your wife had a Canon that she loved, she might prefer to ease back in with a Canon. I took a long break from photography and got back into it with a Nikon z50 2 lens kit, and it let me get familiar with a new version of a system I was comfortable with. Now I have a

Wish this review was available when I was deciding between 180-600 and 400 4.5 for my nikon z50 II

Fabian Fopp compares Z50II + 400 4.5 VR S lens combo!! I got my lens for used like new at 1950 USD... At 2850 total I can't be more satisfied with the 4.5 goodness that comes with the light weight lens combo and I have been enjoying it so far... B

Help me decide: Buy 16–50mm f/2.8 or upgrade to Nikon Z5 II? (Current: Z50 II user)
Hey everyone! I could really use some help deciding my next upgrade move.
I currently own a Nikon Z50 II (about 1 year now) and some extra accessories for DX:
Filters: CPL / ND / Black mist
2x extra batteries
Lenses: TTArtisan 10mm ultrawide + 50-250mm z kit

Z50II vs Z5II
Nikon Z50 II is lightweight & compact and so are the kit lenses. Unfortunately, there are very few professional and semi-professional grade lenses. What's more, the body relies on the built-in touch display for a number of interactions, which can quickly become an issue. Especially if it's below 0 C
