When a Roasted On date is not included, that raises a red flag to me. If you look at your Quick Start Guide and the Inspiration Guide under Brew Tips, it recommends to only use Freshly Roasted On date beans and to use them after 5 days from roasting to let them off gas CO2, and within 20 days, actua

Struggling with bitter/sour shots

Been there, wore that T Shirt. I then did a whole pile of research and found out where I was going wrong, I'll include my findings over that last year below the line. There's a great feature in the Additional Settings menu for Barista Assist (BA), it allows you to turn it off, please, for your sanit

Help

I mean, what you say is not completely wrong, but it’s open for discussion. We (you, me, some other people here) are in the bubble of coffee enthusiasts, while majority of people simply want their daily drug in the morning or sweetened energy booster in the afternoon and they are perfectly happy wit

This machine is awesome. Ninja Lux Cafe.

Ngl, I have had a Ninja Luxe cafe for just about six months now. The wife and I use it as a daily driver for almond milk lattes. The foam isn’t the greatest, but we’re not latte artists and don’t claim to be. It’s absolute heaven, we both love it. Just got done with my cup of joe.

The semi-auto gatekeeping has officially gone too far

Everyone hates on it but I have the ninja 701 as my daily driver for the last 7 months and I pull 4 double shots daily, only use fresh beans from a local roaster that wood roasts their beans (shout out cafe pacori, Eugene, OR) and I have no complaints, it’s so easy once you get it dialed in, grind,

Pro XL milk jug use on premier?

Ninja sent me the jug from the Es601 when the handle broke on jug which came with the ES701. It’s definitely smaller in diameter. It worked on my ES701 just fine but I can’t speak for how it would work vice versa Edit. The phot shows the ES601 jug inside the ES701 jug

Too much output: grind size vs stopping output flow

I think I checked that scale but it was too big, so I ended up with Maestri House Rechargeable Espresso Scale which fits perfectly. So my question: why keep grinding finer rather than just stopping the output when it hits 36g? That's what I do. I am doing ristretto with 1:1 ratio, so I would stop it

Is the luxe pro awful or am I just unlucky?

Ouch! Don't worry about the grind size hit matching your old one, they are set up by hand in the factory, some shimmed, some not. What intrigued me is the fact you're still using Barista Assist. Go into the Additional Settings menu and turn it off, the very worst part of these machines. Dial In from

Defective Luxe Cafe Premier?

First, you're okay, you'll never blow up the machine, but I know what you mean. I am very surprised that it might be suggesting 8 for an Over Ice drink, my 701 was always in the 20's for n over ice. You say you are only 24oz, the machine can only go up to 18oz, no? You only tamp for 16-18oz setting,
