I think I have had 10 bags so far and still not sure what the ideal size for travel is.
40L for a week+, the Osprey 26+6 for < a week, maybe 15L for 1-2 days depending on what else I need to pack.

I did a 9-day trip to Greece with just a GORUCK 18L DC Bullet
I have a 26+6 as well. Similar size in the non-expanded form but the Osprey is bigger if you expand it.
