Go Pack 2 vs. City Pack Pro 2 (20l)

Aer Go Pack 2 or Osprey Daylite Plus - you don't need that level of structure or additional weight tbh.

Looking for a lightweight multi-purpose daypack (mirrorless camera + travel use)

I have the Daylite Plus and its shoulder straps are too thin and can get uncomfortable when the bag is fully packed out. I would say the Osprey Quasar 26 would be a better option.

Seeking advice on how to pick a backpack (20-25L) for day hikes and all-day walking

I love my Osprey Stratos 34. I believe there's a Sirrus 24, and you might love it. It's actually a stiffer frame than that size Tempest but it has a suspended mesh backpanel that I really appreciate, and that I think moves with me quite well. Some people find it a bit narrow around the hips, so try

Daypack for hiking AND under seat EasyJet size

I’m curious about the Mammut Lithium 25, especially as the removable hip belt might be good for hiking but can come off for travel. I’m not sure whether I’ll like the finish on it as I do prefer a lined main compartment. I think I’ll order it. If I don’t like it, I’m afraid the osprey daylite plus i

Osprey Daylite Plus 20L vs Fjallraven Skule 20L for a 5'4" female personal item?

Check out the Patagonia Atom 24 and the Osprey Daylite Tote Pack. The Daylite Plus is a bit long for personal item use, especially for budget airlines.

Bag Finder Megathread - 04 May 2026

I’m looking for a new everyday bag that I can use as a personal item for travel as well. I’m a uni student so I would like a laptop sleeve. I’m go to Thailand via delta airlines somewhat often, and then AsiaAir domestically (very strict baggage guideline, so it’s ok if the bag doesn’t work for this)

Small (20L) backpack with multiple exterior zip pockets?

Hmm the Cotopaxi allpa 18L could work but maybe not as rounded. Osprey daylite plus doesn’t have sizable exterior zips but otherwise is close.

Trying to understand hip belts and placement with lighter loads

“Strapping a rigid structure to [my] body” is exactly how it felt 😵‍💫 I did adjust the torso length at one point because the frame was digging into me but I think that might have made something else worse. I did try a few backpacks around 20L that are in the category you’re describing but none have be

Seeking advice on how to pick a backpack (20-25L) for day hikes and all-day walking

I guess to me it seemed like overkill based on my hiking skill level as well as the amount of time I might spend using it for hiking vs walking around urban environments. It also feels like a big step up in terms of price. In anticipation of returning the Daylite Plus I’d been looking online at some
