Good 25–30L hiking daypack for rocky, uneven trails?
Osprey is hard to beat for comfort. Some bags have a frame, mesh back panel and plenty of other features to keep you comfortable. I’ve also heard good things about Gregory. But I own a a Stratos 24L and 36L bag and they are super comfortable and durable. I hike with them in Class II and Class III te

Anyone here commute by running with a laptop? Looking for backpack recommendations
I’ve been running 5 miles home 2-3 times per week for almost ten years now. At first it was just commuting with my clothes, but started adding my laptop a little over five years ago. I use the Osprey Stratos 24 as my backpack, still going strong. And I use the Thule Gauntlet laptop sleeve to give my

Backpacks with back air gap?
I can suggest the, Osprey Stratos 24 or 34 L, Deuter futura 25 or 32 L. I like the adjustability of the Osprey packs more then the non adjustable frames of the Deuter packs. But it makes them a bit more bulky. For backpacking I really love my Osprey atmos ag 65. While heavier then the exos models it

Gear question - backpacks
Somewhere between 20–30L is the sweet spot for day hikes. Osprey is a really good brand, I would look at the Stratos 24 or something from the Talon line (the chest pockets on the talon velocity are cool, but may vary with personal preference). Other packs I like are by Gregory and Deuter. For overni

I’m looking for a new daypack
I love my Osprey Stratos 24, it’s fully framed and has a mesh that helps to ventilate air through your back.

Daypack recommendations?
I got an Osprey Stratos 24L for Christmas. I've only done 15 miles or so with it so far with winter hikes, but I'm loving it. Super comfy, no back pain or pressure points with 20 lbs loaded. And I'm excited for the ventilation come summer. I can't speak to the ones you mentioned unfortunately, but m

Light/ Medium sizes hiking backpack
Second the rec for the Osprey Stratos 24. Excellent pack. It has a rigid frame that really helps to transfer weight to your hips once adjusted correctly. I used to always get sore shoulders but this pack solved that issue for me. I also tried on the Osprey Talon. For me, the Stratos was clearly bett

Anyone here commute by running with a laptop? Looking for backpack recommendations
I run 4-6 miles into work in Seattle with an Osprey Stratos 24. (I also have a big OMM backpack, but I greatly prefer the Osprey because of the internal frame). I put the laptop in the hydration pack sleeve, and between that and the internal frame of the backpack it holds the laptop really securely.
