It fits! Osprey Stratos 34L is the winner!
I’ve used the Stratos 34L on several Caminos over the last 10 years. I purchased mine in 2015. The style has slightly changed, but it is an awesome pack! Never had a problem with it as a carry-on either. The other pack I have used on Caminos is the Osprey Hikelite 32L. It’s also a great pack, but the

A beginner's questions about gear
34-38L is what I've seen the most out here. Don't go bigger than that. (I'm on day 24 out of 28 days so far and I've got a 34L, with some room to spare). Bag: Osprey Stratos 34. EXTREMELY well made I'm so impressed. Shoes: light and fluffy. Hoka Speedgoats for me. Half a size bigger than normal.

Looking for ideal all in one gym backpack
How big is that in liters? Anyway, I have two candidates for you. The Mystery Ranch 2 Day Assault Pack - it doesn't meet a lot of your bullet points but I have one, I love it, and I think that in terms of actual function it would be great. And the Osprey Metron 34, which is a lot closer to your bull

Do I need a daypack?
Maybe. OP didn't say which 34l Osprey pack he has. The stratos 34 and manta 34 both weigh more than the teton oasis 22. Also the Ospreys 3-4 times the price. However you get top quality and probably better zippers with the Osprey which is what I don't like about mine. I wasn't telling OP which bag t

Which backpack suits my needs best?
The Farpoint isn't a trekking pack. The Terra actually looks really weird to me. TNF mostly doesn't do outdoors packs but they're getting back into it but this one doesn't have the usual outdoors pocketing - like no side pockets - and it's suspiciously inexpensive. I couldn't tell if it has a real f

osprey stratos?
I bought the Stratos 34 from REI but returned it before I ever used it. I didn’t realize there is a Stratos 34 and 36 and I had them confused. I traded it for a 36 which I like more because it is top load. It just suits my packing better and I don’t trust that zipper to hold stuff inPretty much the

How to attach a water bottle to Fairview 40L?
Yes! There are a few. I think I'm using this one. https://a.co/d/cDI9eWD In retrospect I think one of the bajillions that are marketed to the ultralight people (or 2) and a Smartwater bottle or two would be a better choice but I really wanted to use one of my bike bottles and they have a bit bigger

I need cragpack recommendations please :)
I've been using an Osprey Soelden 42. It's just ok. It's really for ski touring. It does have rope and helmet carry but to some degree those are only important because it's kinda small. The hydration situation is a bit funky too. Climbing loads can be pretty heavy between all the carabiners and the

Which backpack should I choose?
I’d consider the Osprey Stratos 34.Much superior build quality and carry system, with a lifetime warranty. backcountry.com have a 20% sale that ends tonight. With it, the cost is the same as the REI options you listed. Amazon shows a pricing of $175.
