2 new Lumix cameras registered
What more could the GH8 actually add that the GH7 doesn’t already have? More resolution? Higher frame rates? On such a small Micro Four Thirds sensor, increasing resolution feels pointless. I think Panasonic has already extracted close to the maximum dynamic range possible from a sensor of this size

Why is it that nobody ever mentions any camera but olympus?
At least for M43, Panasonic’s newer cameras are either kinda middling (G100) or well-specced but bulky (GH7, G9ii). Seems like the preference is for smaller/lighter bodies with good features/IBIS, and Oly/OM just covers that better. That said, go check the used prices for the GX and GM lines, people

Overthinking: G9ii vs S5ii vs GH7 traveling and indoor shooting at higher frame rates
The S5II kit 20-60 isn't the sharpest wide open. It also isn't the fastest. The difference in DOF between Full frame and MFT is 2 stops of aperture. A Panasonic 10-25 F1.7 would actually give you a shallower depth of field and more light than the 20-60. But that is a big expensive lens, and the GH7

Why has the GH Series fallen off the map?
Now the GH7 is severely underperforming in sales compared to Panasonic’s other models. What is this based on? The Amazon top sellers list? I'm not doubting the claim, mind you. Just wondering. Anyway, you can see it even in this subreddit. Pansonic releases camera with specs and features better than

I keep switching between brands any advise as to what brand i should stick with as i go pro? (Canon vs sony)
Depends on what you shoot. I got a Canon R6M2. Because I wanted a good hybrid camera (mostly I wanted a good photography camera) but I mostly do wedding videography. The Canon is nice if I’m covering an event and I know I’ll be doing video and photo. IBIS is strong enough I don’t need a gimbal. I us

Reds become oversaturated magenta? And colour management advice
Here are my experiences with GH5II and Resolve, some problems I bumped into and how I dealt with them over time. There was some useful info on the internet, yotube creators etc, but there was much more repeated 'solutions' that were not good enough for me, so I had to find my own. I hope that you'll

It's M43 Monday! Ask Us Anything about Micro Four-Thirds Photography - all questions welcome!
I’m not talking about light per sqmm. I’m talking about total light which is what determines low light performance. Normalizing exposure is meaningless - ISO6400 on MFT looks like shit, whereas it looks clean on FF. You would need a 2 stop faster lens on MFT to get the same SNR. Video stabilization

Sensor replacement GH7
Took it to Panasonic Greece but after they fixed it i noticed a weird noise pattern at high ISO's that didn't exist before. I took it back and the technician insisted that's standard but it's definitely not. I gave up, bought a Nikon ZR and using the gh7 as a bcam for the time being.
