Why has the GH Series fallen off the map?

The GH7 is the best hybrid MFT-camera on the market if you look at the features. It has 25MP, the best hand held high res and pretty good DR for stills. It has a video performance that is better than most other cameras in the price range. It is an extremely reliable work horse for people who need to

Any Lumix Cameras Around $2000 That are Just as Good, If Not Better Than The Sony FX30?

Disclosure: I own the G9 II and shoot on GH7's and FX30's for work. I'm gonna have some bias towards the Panasonic offering so take this with a grain of salt. The G9 II is probably the closest you can get in the Lumix lineup at a cheaper price point. It's currently on sale at Amazon for 1.6k body on

Hope there will be future lens like Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8

No point for M43 to compete in areas where it's 100% losing out. Better to focus on it's strengths like portability and good enough image quality. As others have mentioned, once you factor in equivalence everything falls apart. Lenses like the 8-25 and 40-150 f4 are great examples that embody the M4

Upgrade: Best sooc

Lumix is just the brand name for Panasonic's digital camera division so yes they're the same For SOOC customizability you definitely want to look for one of their cameras that supports Real Time LUT which for MFT would be the G9ii, GH7 or the new L10 imo Olympus/OM colors are super underrated, they'

The GH5 for life

You could be me. I stated on the g85 as it was called in Ireland too. Have a GH7 now and the AF has really opened up more movement and play. But still use a GH5 as a second camera. With the right grade it can blow people away. Have a FX30 too - via work- can’t deal with the menu systems and ergonomi

Thinking of stepping in to the system, but what's with all the doom messages about m43.

This is my first system and I’ve been loving it over the past year and a half. It is a little stagnant lately, but with that said on the Panasonic side, they do have 2 incredibly powerful cameras at the top of the line. The G9ii (I have this) and the GH7 are incredible. The biggest gripe seems to be

Best hybrid camera (ideally sony)

Youll find eventually that you dont want a hybrid camera at all, because the ergonomics of a Photocamera is poor for shooting Video, and vise versa. Just get 2 diffrent cameras. Even the Lenses, you want manual ones for Video and automatic ones for Photografy. A good way for you might be a uses FX30

Camera for Panasonic Leica 42.5 f1.2?

Very odd to buy the lens first. But each to their own. Here is the top end m43 from Panasonic: G9ii or GH7 One is photo centric (but has very good video options) and the other is video centric (but photography is just as good).

2025 Panasonic Lumix Micro Four Thirds Camera

Honestly do we need a new M4/3 camera every single year? We are at a point where we really can’t improve cameras much more than they are. You can get great images out of pretty much any camera nowadays and unless you are shooting a high end movie, you can get great video out of the GH7 and G9II. To

L10 size vs Pen F

Disagree. Lumix has released smaller and more "professional" cameras that Fuji did for years. The GM-5, GX9, and even the LX10 were years ahead of Fuji on most professional features inside and plenty of manual controls inside the tiniest of bodies. The lack of Phase-detect autofocus rather has been
