LUMIX GH7

Smallest micro four thirds body ever--the GM1 from 2013, size of a deck of cards--combined with one of the fastest-longest lenses on system, the Voigtlander f0.95 60mm. The lens is amazing. I actually use it on my GH7. P.S. Panasonic, please make another ultra compact MFT body!

No point for M43 to compete in areas where it's 100% losing out. Better to focus on it's strengths like portability and good enough image quality. Youll find eventually that you dont want a hybrid camera at all, because the ergonomics of a Photocamera is poor for shooting Video, and vise versa. Just get 2 diffrent cameras. Even the Lenses, you want manual ones for Video and automatic ones for Photografy. A good way for you might be a uses FX30

Very odd to buy the lens first. But each to their own. Here is the top end m43 from Panasonic: G9ii or GH7 One is photo centric (but has very good video options) and the other is video centric (but photography is just as good).

No worries! I think it’s just overshadowed in other areas because it tries to be too hybrid. The gh7 is a better video camera, but then the full frame offerings from Panasonic are even better than that. The s9 is a better edc jpg LUT camera, but then there’s also all of Fuji. I find m43’s best niche
