Should I get a DS5 controller?
Same here. I’ve always been a PlayStation fan and not so much of an Xbox fan, but until this console generation, I think Xbox had the better controller. Prior generations of PS controllers were too small and light. But this time Sony really upped their game with the DualSense. Both in terms of the h

Sony Patents Controller With Deformable Buttons To Let You Twist, Pitch, And Feel Gameplay
I don't own a PlayStation so I unfortunately can't play Astro Bot, but the footstep haptics in FFXIV is some of the coolest stuff I've experienced with my DualSense controller. Incredibly immersive. I've also been playing Arkngiths: Endfield quite a lot since its release earlier this year, almost ex

Received the steam controller today, kind of disappointed in the ergonomics.
Indeed. Completely a preference thing and what actually fits your hands. PS5 was my first PlayStation but the dual sense just felt great to me right away even though I had mostly used an Xbox controller previously.

Jump shooting (ps5)
I’ve been using a scuff controller for a very long time until the dual sense edge kind of came out. I scooped one up after my scuff controller was starting to wear down. And I like the dual sense edge much much more just customization wise. It’s a lot easier and better to do and having the profiles

Controller options
My top recommendation would be the steam controller, of course. It’s the track pads that really make the difference between a console controller, and a hybrid controller that lets you do mouse and keyboard stuff. I know it cost a little more, but it’s built with components to last, and you should be

ps vs xbox controller
I've switched from the Xbox Series controller to the PlayStation 5 DualSense one and I can't go back. The layout is much more suitable with the D-pad and the face button being on the same level, in comparison to having the joystick on top of the Xbox controller. Even though I don't have any issues s

Bethesda support confirmed Dualsense is NOT supported on PC, despite the game featuring adaptive triggers.
Man I was crazy for their games when I finally played them, I loved the hell out of the PC ports for The Last of Us/God of War/Ghost of Tsushima/Horizon/Spider-Man/Ratchet & Clank/Helldivers, They had me enamored enough to splurge on a Dualsense Edge, despite not owning a PS5. I wanted the fancy hap

Genuine Question, why are people so excited about a controller?
At least on my side, it's because the only other controller that could have been capable of the features I like (gyro, back buttons, remapping capabilities, touchpads, and so on) was the DualSense Edge .. and I can't really find myself justifying the DualSense Edge for its price and the fact that it

If you were to pick one controller, which one would you pick and why?
I’ve owned every PlayStation throughout the years (my first console was the Mega Drive/Genesis), as well as every Xbox and most Nintendo systems since 1990. I think the DualSense (PS5) is the best gaming controller ever made. Comfortable, weighty, haptics, force feedback, speaker, etc… I think Xbox

Al jugar MV con joystick.
I don’t really play any 3d Metroidvanias so it’s Dpad all the way for me. I was on the verge of refunding a game before I realized switching from analog to dpad was an option. It may also be that I use a dual sense PlayStation controller where I find the dpad more comfortable than the sticks. If I p
