Why are dumbbells so expensive?? Any suggestions?

Powerblocks elite EXP 10-90 is about $600 total, which frankly is a steal.

How would you spend $400 to support your weight loss/health journey?

I’d go with the Powerblocks. They’re indestructible and the Elite EXP’s are $400 and go up to 50lbs while being upgradable to 90lbs.

Upgrading power blocks worth it?

I love my Elite EXP’s. I’d wait for a sale and then upgrade. Mine are up to 90 and then I bought knurled handle replacements from Griffin. If I ever upgrade it will likely be to the Repins but I’m very happy with the powerblocks

adjustable dumbells idea?

Powerblock elite exp with the option to expand from 50 to 70 if you get stronger. Pretty durable design, not too bulky, and well priced. People don't like the look of the cage design but I've found it to be a non issue functionally.

Why do all adjustable dumbbells have at least 1 thing that sucks about them?

I put off buying powerblocks for over a yr. When I finally ordered them and used them, I absolutely love them and understand the hype about them. I have large hands & have no issues with the elite exps

How do beginners start with dumbbells safely? Overwhelmed and worried about form

Start at a way lower weight than most people would suggest and increase the weight way slower than feels normal. Form and consistency is way more important than trying to explode in size overnight and will lead to more longterm success. I bought adjustable weights though so l have accept to every we

Glad to hear you're happy with your Elite EXP's! As of now we are not planning to change our design to something similar to our competitors.
