Is the qidi q2 worth it?

The Qidi Q2 is a new machine, so the community cannot realistically provide you with much feedback on its service history. However, I'll try to paint some context for you: The Q2 isn't just an enclosed core xy system. It comes stock with a bi-metal hardened nozzle and a heated chamber with temperatu

Generelle Kaufempfehlung

Best Printer for beginners

That's tough on the pricing honestly. Personally, I'd go for a CoreXY printer over the bedslingers (e.g. Ender, Neptune, A1 on your list). CoreXY is a bit more complicated but in general better print quality and faster. You don't get too much into expected usage, but are you going to want or 'need'

Best choice for a 1st printer?

They both are excellent printers. I had the same goals- targeting specifically the higher end/higher temp engineering filaments and at the time the Qidi Plus 4 was the best option hands down. It has been a unbeleivably good printer to that end. It virtually eliminated the entire learning curve for h

Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro - One of the worst experiences I have had with a 3D printer

I got the N4Pro as my first printer about 18 months ago. Out of the box it printed PLA just fine, but over time the print quality declined. I had the same z-offset resetting issue you describe, and it seemed to be because my printer was also on the original firmware. I purchased mine through a resel

Qidi Q2 First Mods

Yeah that's a giant pain in the ass for me because of where my printer is. I can't easily access the rear of the printer without moving the printer and space is tight so there's nowhere to move it to. So having the ability to mount a TPU spool on the front and connect the PTFE tube directly to the e

RadRiser for Qidi Q2 + Qidi Box

I’m thinking of purchasing your no behind the printer space Box riser. https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool/riser-for-qidi-box-for-qidi-q2 I’m intrigued by your low poly design. What filament (type) did you use in the purple/blue model you show? It seems a little flimsy as you handle it but video ca

Bambi lab P2S combo or something else?

I started with an A1 but at the time I debated getting the P1S. I was just starting and didn't know if I'd like 3d printing. Fast forward a couple weeks ago, with the release of the P2S, I couldn't resist the QOL upgrades and what not. I bought one. (I'm in Canada). It's honestly been an awesome mac

Upgrade just for enclosure?

Most printers that include enclosures also have carbon and particulate filters, fans and temperature sensors/controls to better monitor and control the temperature, AND minimize (but not eliminate) odors from printing ASA or ABS. Most lower end models use the heat from the print bed to provide the h

Should I buy a P2S combo?

If you have the budget, the P2S is currently the best 2553 printer Bambu offers. The P2S will offer better ASA CF Nylon and ABS printing then your Ender by far. While I've never had the S1 Pro variant I've had several other variants and it was a night and day difference. Bambu printers will have fai
