What is your webcam?
I really like the Yolocam S3. I have previously used Logitech cameras like the C920 and Brio and I've used Razer's Kiyo, Kiyo Pro, and Kiyo Pro Ultra. Of those, the only one that really competes with the S3 is the Kiyo Pro Ultra, but I don't think you can even buy it anymore and I'd still pick the S

What webcams would you recommend?
if you can find a deal on one, razer kiyo pro or razer kiyo pro ultra. plug and play, works super well with OBS. Razer software can be annoying but you can uninstall that if you want.

USB devices gradually stop working on Arch Linux + USB errors during shutdown
Found the problem. My webccam (Razer Kiyo Pro) was causing USB errors that forced other ports to shutdown. Probably something related to drivers, I'm still looking into it. Specifically the audio drivers. So, disconnecting my USB camera solved the problem for now.

Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra might be the best... but I hate the software
fwiw, I know exactly which issues you're talking about as I went through this with mine, I ditched it and installed my previous Streamcam from Logi. The Razer would just not display video at all, or freeze, or it would show a black screen as the video, it would even crash Zoom sometimes. It would ev

Best webcam on the market?
For low light specifically, the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra’s big sensor does pull ahead. It maintains detail without cranking sharpen/NR to mush. But Synapse is the tradeoff. If you can lock settings once, then disable auto-start and block updates, it’s a killer image. If you need to tweak frequently, you

Synapse 4 & macOS - Notifications Access not detected?
I have this issue right now on m4 mini. I'm using the new Tahoe update. Does notifications access prevent webcam from being detected in synapse? Razer kiyo pro isn't detected in synapse but I can use it generically in obs. I need synapse for zoom pan and tilt.
