What’s so great about mods for the Remarkable 2?

TL;DR I like mods and here's which ones I use For me, it's been mostly about fixing those little UI issues that slow me down and cause me to lose focus when I'm in a writing flow. I have a bunch installed through reManager. Since I have no skills on the command line, reManager has to be considered t

ReManager

I just started using reManager a couple of weeks ago. I love this set-up! I've connected it to one of my rM1s, one of my rM2s, and my Paper Pro. I'm not especially tech-savvy and since I work long hours at my own business, I don't really enjoy committing many hours to experimenting with tech. That s

Paper Pure vs Supernote Manta

As a user of both devices and ecosystems, I definitely feel the Manta is darker than the rM2, so it will be interesting to see. Similar, I found that I didn't use all the features as much as I expected from Supernote even as a college student. Of course you are going to get various opinions, I seen

reMarkable 2 completely failed as my bullet journal replacement..

What’s frustrating is that I can’t fully explain why it didn’t work. I think that is the key thing you need to learn. Personally for me using the reMarkable has been so much more efficient and productive than physical notebooks ... but that is me.

Reading eBooks on RMPPM is nightmare

Throw KOReader on it if you can. reMarkable makes absolutely garbage software for epubs. Edit: just to add I currently switch between a Boox Palma 2, Kobo Clara Colour, and reMarkable 2 for my reading all syncing their progress using KOReader. It is lovely, but it was miserable prior to KOReader. Ko

Returning the paper pro and keeping the RM2

I use Filezilla to FTP into my reMarkable and copy over my sleep screen and other images to the relevant location of my rM2. I like the rM2 enough I'm thinking of getting a second one. A quick google search found me this:https://www.remarkabletabletuser.com/post/2018/01/15/customize-your-remarkable-

My New Daily Set Up

About five years ago, I lived a completely digital life. I loved handwriting notes, especially during meetings, and relied on a yellow legal pad. The problem was I had no notebook management system, so maintaining continuity between meetings separated by days or weeks was nearly impossible. That’s w

Any idea when the successor to the remarkable 2 will be released?

are you aware of the reMarkable Paper Pro? that's newer. That said: I have both the rM2 and the rM-pro and I'm still torn on which device I like more. It's nice to have a front light sometimes, and rarely the bigger screen is useful, but the rM 2's screen+feel still brings me more peace/joy, general

Nomad or Pure?

Hi, they are both great choices, I use both platforms, Nomad(sold) Manta, RM2(now with my wife) and expecting the RMPure. SuperNote has more tools to offer in-device but reMarkable has better off-device tools with its partners app. And the ease of moving stuff in and out of device. Both platforms al

Best tablets for reading and annotating .pdfs?

ReMarkable. Honestly, I've tried a bunch of different LCD tablets (Surface RT, Pro 3, Pro 4, Pro X, and Pro 8), and a bunch of iPads (regular, Air) too. But I read a lot of PDFs because of refereeing, reviewing manuscripts, and reading articles for classes I teach. And I have to tell you that e-ink
