Which robot vacuum is best with HA right now?

I have a roborock s8 pro ultra and its great. The integration works well and the vacuum does its job well. You do have to use the roborock app to set it up initially though which can be a dealbreaker for some people though. For me I dont really care as long as I can ditch the app after setup, which ...

Watch out Mammotion, the king of vacuums has entered the mower game 👀

I will 100% switch to Roborock. I have their S8 Pro Ultra and it is, hands down, worth every penny. Honestly, I’m tired of having to rescue my Luba 2 from the front yard when it randomly shuts down or decides to stop charging when it gets back to the station.

Roborock Vacuums - Pair with Roborock or Xiaomi Home App?

TL;DR: In my opinion, the current best way to run a roborock vacuum cleaner in home assistant is this: use the core roborock integration use the custom map integration from https://github.com/Lash-L/RoborockCustomMap use the vacuum map card from https://github.com/PiotrMachowski/lovelace-xiaomi-vacu...

Why is mapping so crappy on every model?

I can only speak about our experiences, but both our previous and current Roborock (S6 MaxV and S8 Pro Ultra) have navigated our apartment flawlessy for a combined 5½ years. Not once got stuck or couldn't find their way back to the dock.

Rich people, what "rich person's habits" could you not break no matter how poor you'd become?

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra really has changed my life despite having a live in maid

Who is the Official distributor of Xiaomi products?

Best robot you can buy is Roborock. Unfortunately, no reseller in mauritius. You'll have to import by yourself through Shop & Ship. Totally worth the effort. I've two roborocks at home, s6 and s8 pro ultra. They are a huge life and time saver. Chugging along since 3 years now, zero issues.

I love my Roborock (after owning Roomba's for 20+ years)

Here in the same boat iRobot for 15 years and five months ago I picked up a Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and fell in love with it. Like I don’t need to move a finger (excluding filling/emptying water tanks). It figures everything on its own, unlike my Roomba.

Roborock Saros 10r or Dreame x50 ultra or mova v50 ultra or ecovacs x9 pro.

I won’t really recommend the Saros models since they don’t do as well as the older roborock flagships like the s8 MaxV ultra and the qrevo models with dual rubber brushes like the qrevo master or slim when it comes to carpet cleaning. The dreame x50 or the MOVA v50 generally just works out of the bo...

Can a robot vacuum be BIFL? My experience so far

I bought a refurbished roborock s8 pro ultra and love it. Bought through ebay sold by roborock. Almost all the pieces are replaceable, it's easy to service, the app tells me how often to do things. It vacuums daily and mops 2x per week. I've only had it for 3 months now, the first one that came in h...

Not thoroughly mopping

I have my roborock s8 pro ultra vac and mop daily and I use my roborock f25 ace wet dry mop at dinner time. I have 2 huskies. They track dirt in. Water still comes out gross no matter what which means I still have to clean the floors the traditional way. Nice thing is, with a tiny amount of maintena...
