New Headphones or Glue?

New earpads are all you need. I recommend the SoulWit brand on Amazon. They’re comfy and do not change the sound from the stock ones, and are half the price of the Sennheiser direct pads, if they even have them in stock. Edit- also, you can use a small soft paint brush to clean around the driver and...

Thinking of ditching my DT 990 Pros for gaming, and I want to head back over to Sennheisers. Is it crazy to go from DT 990 to, maybe HD 6XX or 58Xs?

I've essentially went from using gaming headsets back in the day, years ago... to owning the the HD 598 (back in 2014, because they were on sale for $99. Killer deal. Still is.) and HD 599 SE when they came out (mostly for aesthetics, I sold the 598).

So I have, an liked the HD 599... but they're p...

Has anyone found a pair of headphones that do not aggravate their TMJ?

It depends entirely on your budget. In-ear: I get ear infections that seem to connect to the TMJ pain when I try to use any type of -in anything other than semi-open ear-buds (i.e with only hard plastic, not with silicone/foam/etc on the end). But Apple, Sennheiser, LG, Nothing brand make a variety ...

Sennheiser HD599SE for a first timer, help!

The 599 will be an upgrade over the Q45. And they should last a long time, much longer than any similarly priced planar. If you live in North America, you could probably find a used HD 650 or 600 for not much more money. Just swap new ear pads on and you basically have a new headphone. The HD 6XX is...

What’s your favorite feature of the new HDB 630 - and what would you change?

I'm coming from daily using M4 with BTD700 at work and usually HD6XX or HD599 at home depending on mood. The BTD700 has been great for multi device pairing, with the M4 paired to my phone and the BTD700 on whatever PC I'm at - love the combo and was excited to get a second BTD700 when I bought these...
