HELP! 1080p Footage looks blurry and washed out. What do I need to improve next time? Is the high ISO the reason?
lessons learned: Shoot 4K even if your final video will be 1080p. Downscaled video looks a lot sharper and also denoised. 1080 footage looks horrible on those cameras. You should have tried it. Also bitrate is not enough to handle wide shots as far as I remember. (but I'm not sure if a7iii shoots 50

Asked Director for LUT, Offered to sell me his LUT package
Yea, the jump from the a7III to the a7SIII and newer Sony FF mirrorless is a big one. Not just 10-bit color but also general color science and image rendering. The a7SIII sensor is what's in the FX6, though I know a lot of pros would rather use interframe codecs for everything, so XAVC S is definite

Any advice for how to take better indoor photos with no flash?
All you can do is open up your aperture as far as you can and use the slowest shutter speed you can. Other than that it is adding a lot more light or dealing with the noise. Indoor photography sucks unless it involves pretty powerful lighting. Cameras need a lot more light than human eyes and human

Which is more important for taking great photos: the camera itself or digital image editing?
Neither. Composition and lighting are the most important things. Subject matter can help too. If you have a workable base, editing can elevate the picture, but if the first two things are shit then editing won't take you too far. Camera can help if it allows you to do fancy techniques or something b

A6000 for Video
A6k uses the wrong method to record video. Instead of oversampling, which is what nearly every other hybrid camera's doing, it skips lines. That means that it doesn't use the whole sensor for it. Consequently the quality isn't better than from a phone. There are issues with noise, aliasing, moire an

Issues with 50m 1.4 pro communication with Sony a7r3. Support unhelpful.
Just my honest opinion: I posted about an issue I had, got a DM within five minutes asking for my email address, and received an email with new beta firmware to try just half an hour later. That’s excellent customer service. And i later learned that is not even just the viltrox adapter that i acting

Is recording in 4k really necessary?
A7 iii video for real estate does not work, I tried making it work for 2 years and was underwhelmed with the image quality every time. Gotta upgrade or shoot on an iPhone

Thoughts and advice between 2 cameras R7 vs Z6 and Z62... Opinions ?
Autofocus will still be better than my current D7000 and I've hit some 'almost' tack sharp hummingbirds and managed to bulzeye a dragonfly in flight, both freehand, single point focus, so I don't think a couple millionths of a second will hurt much 😆 If canon had a better lens selection I think I wo

Did I make a mistake?
I had the same “problem”. Bought a Sony a7iii. Really like taking pictures but the editing is what i did not like. With 2 kids I just did not want to spend my evenings editing. I sold it and bought a Fuji x100vi and it is so much fun!

I have a budget of around $600-$700. What about your lens budget? Nature, Architecture, Street, and Portraits. I care more about the final "look" and resolution of the image than I do about video or high-speed sports. Nature is a really broad term that could include many different types of photograp
