Am I ready to buy to buy a real camera now ?
bro, where do you live? Those nature pictures are beautiful. Regarding camera, if you're buying second hand, then A7III + 35mm 1.8 is great start

Is this a good deal and good starter camera?
Honestly for $700 I would skip that and get something mirrorless. Camera gear is something I think is wise to buy used, because when it's time to upgrade, you don't lose your ass. For your purposes, especially the low light activities, I'd say grab a Sony A7 ii ($500-700ish) or A7 iii body ($700-$10

iPhone 15 Pro Max vs Sony A7III
Posted some travel photos recently here from Japan and South Korea and got some comments doubting they were shot on iPhone đ So thought it would be interesting to do a quick comparison. Tried to find the most similar shots I had across both my iPhone 15 Pro Max and Sony A7III with matching editing.

Are you all Professional Photographers or is the GRIII really that good?
Doesnât matter what camera it is, itâs about light and composition. I absolutely love my GRIII and GRIIIx but thatâs mainly just cause itâs a crop sensor camera in the smallest package I can imagine. I definitely have pics from it that are way better than some pics Iâve taken with my Sony A7III and

I captured the comet Lemmon with my mirrorless camera
C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) captured with my usual and modest astromodified a7III at 600mm. By pure chance, I was able to try the Sony 200-600mm a couple of nights ago. My intention was to make a few tests, to shoot Andromeda, Orion, and the Pleiades just to see how they look at 600mm, and I thought of givin

The Milky Way arch at Passo Giau, Dolomites
The Milky Way arch at Passo Giau was one of the most challenging arches Iâve ever captured due to the intense light pollution and high humidity. After a spectacular sunset, we were enveloped in mist during the blue hour, but we were fortunate to have a clear night. I had the lens heater on at maximu

Is A7 iii now too dated?
Better gear never just automatically makes your photos improve. Youâre a new photographer, and the A7III is an absolute workhorse. No need to worry about the marginal differences in performance on more recent bodies. Different lenses can really move the needle in terms of what youâre able to accompl
